12x40 Catalytic Coconut Shell Activated Carbon – Chloramine & Hydrogen Sulfide Removal
Our 12x40 Catalytic Activated Carbon made from high-quality coconut shell is a specially treated granular carbon designed to remove chloramines, hydrogen sulfide, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) more effectively than standard GAC. Engineered with a 12x40 mesh size, this carbon provides excellent flow characteristics while maintaining a high surface area and enhanced catalytic activity.
Unlike conventional GAC, catalytic carbon offers faster reaction kinetics, making it ideal for water treatment systems that require the removal of chemically resistant compounds like chloramines and sulfur-based odors. It is also effective in reducing THMs, herbicides, pesticides, and other organic contaminants.
This coconut-based catalytic carbon is acid-washed for purity, low in ash and dust, and safe for use in water systems, whole-house filters, industrial filtration units, and commercial RO pre-treatment applications. It delivers long-lasting performance and is compatible with standard pressure vessels and carbon housings.
